Again, the history of the Triftwege is vividly illustrated with an information board.
In addition, in the Modenbachtal also fish ladders are created and it is informed on the same board about the Bach residents.

An idyllic place to rest at a particularly beautiful floating structure on the Modenbach stream.It was built of wood in 1821. A stone dam was added in 1851. Three species of fish live in the stream (brown trout, bullhead, and brook lamprey); they use the fish ladder in both directions.

In the past, wood was probably transported down the valley on the Trift facilities. Nowadays the small ponds are used for fish farms by local fishing clubs.
