Bloße Zelle (480 m) – Highest Point in the Hils

At 480 meters above sea level, the Mere Cell is the highest point in the Hils and the surrounding area. A few benches invite you to take a short break.

At 480 m, the Mere Cell is the highest elevation in the Hils and Alfelder Bergland (Ith-Hils-Bergland). It lies on the border between the districts of Holzminden and Hildesheim, a good 4 km north-east of Eschershausen.

With a dominance of 18 km and a prominence of about 235 m, Hils and Blöße are among the most sublime ridges and peaks in the Lower Saxony highlands.
