Hiking

The nature reserve "Ithwiesen" is part of one of the largest contiguous grassland areas in the Lower Saxon mountains and hills. The flowery mountain meadows and other little fertilized areas with typical species such as medicinal zies, cowslip, meadow caraway and devil's bite are particularly valuable.

The area is crossed by paths with species-rich hems and divided by numerous bushes and single trees. The Ith glider airfield is included, but its flight operations are not restricted.
