A new place of encounter and remembrance, the sculpture of the Seehasen in the riverside park. Artist Waldemar Schröder, who made the group of figures out of bronze, took up the origin and spirit of the Seehasenfest in his depiction. The scepter and chain of office show the special significance of the life-size Seehasen figure, the happy movements and beaming faces of the girl and the boy embody the joy and lightheartedness that the festival has brought to children for generations.
