Nice autumn round in the "promised land" in Upper Swabia.
A little bit of tar under the legs, only the final part at the Karsee was a natural / root path. A vineyard 🍇🍷 in Upper Swabia? Can be found on the sunny slope below the Kirchberg in Leupolz.
A sculpture path was installed in Karsee-Ort.

The weather finally cooperated so that we could go on another tour on the last day of the Kögel cycle tour in the Kvarner Bay. Now and then there were strong gusts of wind, mostly the sun was shining and we stayed dry from above. In Plomin our guide Dolores had organized a meal in a nice family restaurant.
Beautiful views of the Istrian landscape and the Kvarner Bay alternated with longer climbs and descents on roads with sometimes less, sometimes more traffic. Nice end of a cycle tour marked by capricious weather conditions in the supposedly sunny south

Storm and rain spare bike program: Walk from the Hotel Omorika to the center of Crikvenica during the storm break.
I have seldom seen such a storm. The sea was churned, the plumes of spray gave the impression that the sea was boiling
Cycling was out of the question, for safety reasons alone. When the Yugo storm (brings bad weather, comes from the south; Bora comes from the north, brings good weather) subsided, we dared a walk into the little town of Crikvenica. The season is almost over, many tourist facilities are already closed. It was enough for two refreshments at the hospitable hosts.
Some of the evening pictures 🌅 are from the day before yesterday, Tuesday evening.
We may be able to do another bike tour on Friday, October 8th.

Part 2 of the rain spare bike program: Walk in Rijeka during the 💦 break with spontaneous intense 💦😱 showers.
Rijeka is a lively port city with a beautiful pedestrian zone and interesting side branches to stop off at.

Part 1 of the rain replacement bike program: Walk in Opatija during the break.
Opatija is the Monte Carlo in Istria or the Kvarner Bay. Manor houses and parks from the KuK monarchy can be seen here.

Yes, the nice weather, also in the south, in the hinterland of the Crikvenica Riviera, it got wet. The plan was to cycle through the green (primeval) forests in the Gorski Kotar mountain region with panoramic views over the 3 lakes Bajer, Lokve and Lepenica back to the blue sea. After 21 km we had to break off from a group of 30 cyclists due to heavy rain and fog for safety reasons and let the bus collect us again (Fig. 17). It was nice to stop at Vera's rustic forest restaurant (Fig. 5).

On Saturday afternoon, just set off, across the harvested hop gardens, along fine little connecting roads, partly also gravel road and ended up in the WeltladenCafe in Bodnegg. Double the cake portion (and giant pieces) 🙈 taken because I somehow had weak legs😏. In the meantime, more Strässle trusted back above me, in time to fire up the grill👌
Overall nice tour with some ups and abs.

      Hechingen, a playground city👏👌
You can feel it at the weekend when it is teeming with families with small and large kids in the city and the P's are z. B. on the häppy swing path are full.
My highlight Martinsberg is of course out of place ((Fürstengarten), but komoot does not currently react to repeated corrections🙊

Half-eaves Zollernburg panorama in the early evening from Stich Onstmettingen via Irrenbergblick, Heiligenkopf, Bläsi- or Blasenberg, Zollersteighof to AP Zellerhorn. It was getting dark here, I was there all alone, the "sunset viewers were there earlier".
Via Dagersbrunnen, Ruchtal ski lift towards the stich car park. Every now and then there was a full moon before clouds pushed in front of it again. I could save my forehead lamp. Some noises in the dark make the heart rate quite tense👿.
Although I was on the move quickly, I totally misjudged myself over time, from the Stich to the Zellerhorn it stretches and towards Heiligenkopf there are plenty of photo opportunities in the evening light. Overall a beautiful👌👍 eaves semicircle.
