A bit strange, when you go from the campsite into the forest here, you are warned about a "crooked neighbor". We dared to go as far as the property 🙈 but it got too creepy for me at the 2 beautiful lakes/ponds and we beat a hasty retreat 🤔😂.

We actually wanted to stay overnight in Eutin, but since the parking space was packed again, we had to look for something else.
We like it here in Buchholz. There is a restaurant on site and 4 different hiking trails lead past the campsite.
We decided on a short round this evening.

From the Langballigau campsite, we walked along the beach towards the Whale Memorial. The further you get from the promenade, the wonderfully quiet and wild it becomes. Here, everything on the beach remains as the wind and water shape it 😘.

Langballigau, on the Flensburg Fjord, is a small village with a vibrant beach life. Everything is there, from hotel to camping, as well as an ice cream parlor, cafés, and various restaurants. You can also get souvenirs.
The beach is equipped with play and seating facilities.

From the Camper Stop Aabenraa we went to the harbor.
