I have been to Venekotensee so many times as a child and also later, but I have only visited this beautiful heath landscape for the 1st time now.
The viewing tower is also beautiful, which can be easily climbed with 43 steps and offers a beautiful panoramic view over the landscape.

From the Langballigau campsite, we walked along the beach towards the Whale Memorial. The further you get from the promenade, the wonderfully quiet and wild it becomes. Here, everything on the beach remains as the wind and water shape it 😘.
