The station is located on the former Knüllwaldbahn. The Oberaula - Treysa section was once operated by the Schwalm-Knüll railway friends as a museum railway. Due to the poor condition of the route, there were unfortunately no more journeys from 2000. The reception building (identical to Niederaula) was also used by the association.
