Hiking

This is the ancient cathedral of the Umbrian Diocese. It dates back to the 11th-12th century, but was built on an older building, from the early Christian era, which was in turn built on a domus from the Roman era (the so-called domus of Propertius).

With the decree of 25 December 2016, Bishop Domenico Sorrentino erected it as a Sanctuary of Despoilment[1], recalling the famous sensational gesture of Saint Francis, which occurred right near the place of worship.
