This beautiful complex used to be a manor house. Now around 40 people from different generations live here and regularly organize events with their art association.

The Poggenhagen cultural heritage site is a living museum. There is a real dung heap, a stable for riding horses, a vegetable garden, an open-air oven and a beautiful meadow for events. The cultural heritage site is also a good starting point for various hikes in the forest and fields.

The former Poggenhagen manor is located on the edge of the village of Poggenhagen, which belongs to the town of Neustadt am Rübenberge. The Leine floodplain begins behind the estate. About 1 km from the farm, the Leine meanders through a beautiful floodplain landscape that invites you to take long walks. You will look in vain for mountains here to get a sweeping view of the area. To the north of the manor house is a park of around 3 hectares, which offers a beautiful view of the neo-baroque facade of the manor house. Behind it is a forest through which an oak avenue about 1 km long and almost 300 years old leads towards Neustadt am Rübenberge.
