The Bordenauer See (also Bordenauer Kiesteich or Kiesteich Bordenau) is a former gravel pit in Neustadt am Rübenberge in the Hanover region. The quarry lake is located in the Leine lowlands north of Bordenau, a district of Neustadt am Rübenberge. It was created during the construction of the B6. The lake is located in a landscape conservation area and is mostly surrounded by woodland. It is looked after by the Neustadt am Rübenberge angling club and used as a fishing water. In 2011, eel, perch, bream, pike, carp, roach, rudd, tench and zander were reported from the lake. On the east bank there is a lawn in an unfenced area. This area is open to bathers. Nude bathing is also possible. There are no sanitary facilities and there is no lifeguard.
