Wunstorf has a class of pedestrian zones. Right in the middle of the shepherd's fountain and old houses, beautiful little streets ...

Hiking

Something is different when you walk past the Kuhbrunnen in the evening. The fountain sculpture is illuminated, two spotlights on newly installed masts bathe one of Wunstorf's city symbols in warm light. It is Mayor Eberhardt's farewell gift to the city: instead of gifts on his farewell, he asked for donations to illuminate the cow fountain. By the way: the Wunstorfer family coined the name Kuhbrunnen themselves. Officially, the name Hirtenbrunnen was once intended.
