The saint's house shows the baptism of Jesus by John on the Jordan.
The house was designed by Jürgen Schwittmann, Krefeld. The mosaic with the baptism scene was designed by Lutz Trippelsdorf from Krefeld, and the execution was carried out by Hein Derix in Kevelaer.
The Heiligenhäuschen is a foundation of the Traarer associations from 1998 for the 60th birthday and local anniversary of Pastor Hans Beckers, St. Josef, Traar.
