Beautifully situated chapel: on a plot lined with beech hedge in a bend of the Meusegemstraat. To the left of the chapel a lime tree, to the right a conifer.
Built in the Marian Year of 1954 during the time of Pastor Verhasselt (1952-1969).
The chapel was inaugurated on July 12, 1954 by Monsignor Cuvelier and was a gift from Marie Pelagie and Louise Huysegoms (see bluestone memorial plaques to the left and right of the door).
