Old Bazaar of Korçë

The Pazari i Korçës, also known as Pazari I Vjeter or the Korça Bazaar, is the most beautiful part of the city. In 2015, the city center was completely renovated. It is a vibrant and lively place with cobbled streets and rustic architecture reminiscent of the Ottoman era. Around the main square, winding pedestrian streets lead with small boutiques, galleries, creative studios and antique shops. Some of the bazaar's shops sell cultural and traditional Albanian artifacts, as well as carpets, decorative pieces, beautiful macrame and clothing. The center is also home to several lovely restaurants and bars.
However, by the beginning of October there was no trace of life here: everything was dense and almost deserted.
