On this tour we can exchange if we follow each other and I invite you (because it's my tour). If we make the tour private, only the invitees can participate in the exchange.
This tour can also be extended to other participants in the same way. Conductor can also be someone else.
Tours and suggestions could be linked here.
is a try. I don't know if it works with komoot.Flitzpiepe, I hope you'll allow the picture theft.

The "Pingenweg" leads over 33 km from Essen-Huttrop to Niedersprockhövel. (The name is reminiscent of an archaic technique of coal mining: coal was dug in open gullies and trenches - the pings, following the seam.)On our winter hike today, we followed the Pingenweg a bit to the Wichteltal, then we went back along the Ruhr via the towpath. On our route, the towpath was just passable, upstream the Ruhr, which overflowed its banks, had already flooded it.At the animal enclosure in the Wichteltal I was able to convince myself that my favorite paired ungulates survived the destruction of the fence unscathed.[Track: Recording (Komoot)]

The Emscher is free from sewage! - That was the sensational news of the achievement of what is probably the most important milestone of the Emscher conversion project these days.So I really wanted to take a look at the Emscher (and am only one letter away from what caused the former Köttelbecke to be overcome). What is immediately noticeable: The embankments are clean, no more trace of toilet paper. The fact that the water is not crystal clear may be due to churned-up sediments or the discharge from construction sites upstream. But water birds can already be seen! But what really irritated me is the picture that presented itself at the mouth of the Bernese: At least it looks like dirty water will continue to get into the Emscher here😕. I will clarify this with the Emschergenossenschaft and report here.[Track: Recording (Komoot)]➔ Addendum: For clarification, see below.

Walk through the little street "On the Danube". Why?Just to draw your attention to my new collection on the Danube Cycle Path: komoot.de/collection/1118591In 2002 and 2004 we cycled the entire Danube Cycle Path from the source to Bratislava in two sections - a total of 1000 kilometers. I didn't have a GPS receiver back then, but on the section from Passau to Bratislava I took numerous digital photos, which I was able to use to reconstruct the individual stages very reliably.A varied and recommendable tour! (I mean the Danube, not on the Danube.)[Track: Recording (Komoot)]

The aim of this unprofitable touristic and sporty unprofitable walk was to draw your attention to my new collection “Main Cycle Path 2007”. (It makes sense to go to the Mainzer / Frankfurter Strasse intersection in my district.)We got to know the cities of Mainz and Frankfurt in 2007 - long before Komoot and GPS track recording - on our Mainradtour: komoot.de/collection/1118598With the help of the many photos I was able to reconstruct the route of each of the 16 bike stages and city strolls fairly reliably, for the subsequent georeferencing of photos I recommend this famous tool: geosetter.de. So now I have a complete documentation of this beautiful bike tour.[Track: Recording (Komoot)]

This has now become one of our favorite hikes - this time with a variation on the start that we liked a little better. On the way there, the path offers a delightful mix of fields, forest groves and old farmsteads with a great view of the opposite bank of Lake Baldeney, on the way back it leads directly along the lakeshore to Haus Scheppen. If you like, you can feast on delicious French mayo with currywurst there. (We mostly like.)[Track: Recording (Komoot)]

With a bright November sun and 5 ° C, we went first to Mülheim, then through the Ruhr floodplains near Saarn, Menden and Mintard to Kettwig, from there to Werden and back over the stupid Lerchenstraße mountain.Of course, I also included the short detour to the Hugenpoet moated castle, which is well worth seeing. In the Kettwig district “in front of the bridge” I became aware of a small memorial that reminds of the former Jewish community in Kettwig, which was destroyed by the Nazis. Now there is a highlight there with a link to an informative website.[Track: Recording (Komoot)]
