🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)Last city tour in the morning before the return flight in overcast skies. We are aware of a twofold happiness: we have been able to experience Buenos Aires in bright sunshine so far, and we do not have to spend the night in Buenos Aires on the street.[Track: Record (Komoot)]

🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)Walk through San Telmo in the neighboring district La Boca with the famous fronts of colorful painted corrugated iron. On the way, Tango Argentino will once again be held on the tranquil and authentic-looking Plaza Dorrego. La Boca, on the other hand, is very touristy and noisy and in places reminiscent of a funfair.[Track: Record (Komoot)]

🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)Our last bike ride: After yesterday's hell ride on an extremely bumpy gravel road (komoot.de/tour/99529044) we can now cross the Quebrada de las Conchas (the "gorge of the shells") on an asphalt road. (Alone the hurricane-like headwind bothers us a lot.)Again and again, there are views of the Río de las Conchas and the bordering bizarre rock formations - a difficult, but very rewarding tour.[Track: Record (Komoot)]

🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)Before we get on the e-bikes for the bike ride through the Quebrada de las Conchas, we walk through a side valley and be impressed by the creations of erosion.[Track: Record (Komoot)]

🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)The landscape a dream, the street a nightmare - that's how you could characterize today's bike ride. From the Ruta nacional 40, we will travel from Molinos to the spectacular Quebrada de las Flechas ("Gorge of the Arrows"), where bizarre pinnacles created by erosion can be admired. The price for this great experience is the extremely exhausting journey on a washboard-like gravel road, on which one is constantly shaken violently.Compensating also suggests the lunch break in the beautiful finca del Carmen book - the bottom line so again a successful day![Track: Record (Komoot)]

🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)The sleepy, but sympathetic Andigen village of Molinos has not much to offer - in the beautiful grounds of the Hacienda de Molinos but you could spend two nights to relax a day.[Track: Record (Komoot)]

🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)On this varied tour we follow the Río Calchaquí of San Antonio de los Cobres south to the Andigenörfchen Molinos, the destination of today. One day without a bus transfer!A very scenic detour takes you through a village of weavers selling their colorful products. In the pretty village of Seclantás, we enjoy fresh empadas in a cozy courtyard during our lunch break.[Track: Record (Komoot)]

🚲 With the E-MTB through the Andes (Argentina / Chile)On the Ruta nacional 40, the highest road in Argentina (a gravel road), we cycle from the Abra del Acay pass at an altitude of almost 5,000 meters through breathtaking mountain landscapes down into the valley of the Calchaquí River. An overwhelming experience that makes it difficult for me to find the right words - that's why I'm letting a lot of pictures speak here.[Track: Record (Komoot)]

About Mosmas
