A magnificent engineering monument. Unfortunately, the bridge is slowly deteriorating. During my visit (November 2020), several planks of the footpath were already missing. Cross at your own risk. A study by the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences examined the feasibility of a combined footpath and cycle path. To date, nothing has come of it.
