This bridge is very convenient because it allows hikes off the thoroughfare. Originally there were even two railway lines at the start: Bad Freienwalde-Angermünde and Bad Freienwalde-Zehden. Since the bridge on the Angermünde line was blown up after the war, the track was moved to the bridge on the Zehden line. The last trains rolled in 1995 and the last tracks were dismantled in 2009. A picture from 1950, with today's bridge on the right, can be seen here: klauserbeck.de/Kilometrierung/Table12/BadFreienwaldeZehden/Abzw-Oderbruecke-um-1950-Slg-Manske.jpg

The former Freienwalde–Zehden railway line, now Cedynia in Poland, connects the two rivers. After 1945, the line was interrupted due to the Oder-Neisse line, which became the new border. Operations have been suspended since the mid-1960s.
A good opportunity to cross the old Oder on foot or by bike.

it would have to be the bridge and the route of the Freienwalde - Zehden small railway (bahnbahnen.de/kfz.htm)
