Reilchen route (entrance)

If you are coming from outside and would like to get to know the Albiger Reilchen route, you can park at the gym at the entrance to the town. The local village paths - narrow alleys between two houses: called Reilche' - are a special feature of the town planning, because there are so many of them here, which is why the residents have created a 1.8 km long circular path in their free time. An extensive network of these narrow paths runs around the village and also within the town. The expression is derived from the French word for alley = Ruelle and is thus also a testament to the eventful history of the two now friendly peoples on both sides of the Rhine.
