The trullo is an Italian vineyard cottage and unique in the whole of Germany. It was built in 1756 by guest workers from Apulia, who worked in the surrounding quarries. Today you can sit on the benches next to the trullo and enjoy the magnificent view.

The Flonheim Hiwweltour is, in my opinion, the most beautiful Hiwweltour in Rheinhessen. A highlight is the trullo, from which you can see the Rheingau, the Palatinate (Donnersberg), Hunsrück and Odenwald when the visibility is good.
