Within sight of this knight's stone is a crossroads with a beautiful seating area.

This is one of over 300 knight's stones of the Palatinate Forest Association.
It “is an elongated boulder made of sandstone. It lies in a small group of rocks. The knight's stone has a depression on the top [that has similarities to a ladle]. Bolls were popularly known as round mountain heads or trough-like deep bowls. In the Palatinate, large ladles are also described as “Boll” (Eitelmann, pp. 71-72).[...]
The stone may mark a border between the communities of Hainfeld and Edenkoben, as some (border) signs can also be found on it, e.g. B. a cross and some letters.
