At the western entrance to Göcklingen there are 2 sculptures, which represent important identification figures of Göcklingen:
a) Sculpture "Ur-Gockel": The Gockel is the mascot of the village of Göcklingen; in 1254, Göcklingen was first mentioned in a document; excavations this year are, of course, made up... :-)
b) The "Göcklinger Halseisen": "A silver neck iron on a blue background adorns the Göcklingen community coat of arms as a sign of jurisdiction. Based on this symbol, the sculptor Susanne Egle created this sculpture in 1994". (Literal text on the information board at the sculpture)
