Luckily you do not have to climb the old stone stairs anymore :-) The small climb up the stairs is well worth it!

The Neukastel castle ruins are located near Leinsweiler in the Südliche Weinstrasse district in Rhineland-Palatinate.
- it is a hilltop castle
- probably built in the 12th century
- after being damaged in 1525, it was finally destroyed in 1689
- There is still a rock plateau that can be reached today via a metal staircase
- great all-round view or fantastic view

There is not much left of the castle - but you can climb up a few stairs and enjoy the beautiful view.

Are only stones, but a great rock viewing platform. You have to climb a steep ladder. Gigantic all-round view. You don't know exactly what it used to be.

The ascent from the Slevogt house is heavily rewarded but with a great view of the upper rock tableau. There is hardly anything left of the castle.
