This extremely well-preserved castle, which is one of the most famous in the Palatinate, lies above Klingenmünster. From the keep you have a sensational view over the entire Rhine plain. Concerts and medieval markets (Landeckfest) take place here, where you can watch all sorts of hustle and bustle. Here, too, a castle tavern with a terrace invites you to enjoy tarte flambée and other dishes.

Starting point of the Three Castles hike:
On the castle path from the castle Landeck above Klingenmünster first to the ruin Schlössel. Continue up to the Ringwall Heidenschuh. Then to the Martinsturm, with a good view far over the Palatinate Forest, before it goes down to the White Rock, a nice rest area. Then back to the starting point for Burg Landeck.
