The Aspelare Water Mill is a grain water mill located on the Beverbeek (also sometimes called 'Molenbeek'). The overshot wheel has now been removed. Only the ashes are still present.
The mill was founded before 1473. A thorough repair took place in 1776.
A steam engine was installed in 1872, but even after that, water-powered milling continued.
In 1957, however, the mill was converted into a mill that ran entirely on diesel engines. Shortly afterwards the redundant overshot wheel was removed.
