A beautiful art object that would have been better showcased with the prominent trees. Unfortunately, a storm damaged the trees so much that they had to be felled.

      3 - “The Green Station”

“The Green Station” is a bright green house with a very reduced architecture that has completely grown into the surrounding biotope. The sculpture was designed by the artist Gloria Friedmann, who made nature and man's relationship to nature the theme of her work. Through the confused green of the bushes, the small house, closed on three sides, appears from a distance as a monochrome symbol, as a sculpture when you approach, and as a resting place when you stand in front of it. The rustic and simple furnishings deepen this impression. However, the green station is not recommended as a shelter during thunderstorms: plaster and building panels are supported by a solid steel frame.

Personal note (as of August 2018): Unfortunately, only the small house remains of this art object because the surrounding biotope and the trees growing out of the house were completely destroyed by storms and therefore had to be removed. Very unfortunate...

“The Green Station” is a bright green house with a very reduced architecture, which is completely fused with the surrounding biotope. The sculpture was conceived by the artist Gloria Friedmann, who made nature and the relationship between humans and nature the theme of her work. Due to the tangled green of the bushes, the small house, closed on three sides, appears from a distance as a monochrome symbol, as a plastic when you approach, and as a place to rest when you stand in front of it. The rustic and simple furnishings deepen this impression. However, the green station is not recommended as a shelter during thunderstorms: plaster and building panels are supported by a solid steel frame.

Personal note (as of August 2018): Unfortunately, only the small house is left of this art object, because the surrounding biotope and also the trees growing out of the house were completely destroyed by the effects of the storm and therefore had to be removed. What a shame ...
