St. Lambertus is one of the old foundations in our region. A document from 1188 already assumes the existence of a parish.
Today's St. Lambertus church is only a 20th century building, since the previous church was destroyed in the night of the bombings of the 21st and 22nd. February 1945 was completely destroyed.
In 1949 the groundbreaking ceremony for the new church took place, which was consecrated in 1951.
