Hiking

The sculpture of the former Beatle, casually leaning against the wall opposite the Cavern Club, has been a fixture in the city for over 25 years. Created by artist David Webster, the sculpture was unveiled in 1997 to mark the club's 40th anniversary. Webster, who visited the famous Cavern as a teenager, modeled the original statue after a photograph of John Lennon featured on the cover of his 1975 album Rock 'N' Roll.
