This walk was 'interesting' rather than enjoyable. The best sections were the start at Llanfairfechan and the end - the approach to Conwy and Conwy itself. It should have been obvious to me from the map but as the route follows a main and busy dual carriageway for most of the way this is far from a 'peaceful' walk and in all honesty I couldn't recommend it to anyone else. I would definitely recommend Conwy - the castle, the woods and the riverside walk. I wouldn't walk this route again but if I did I would stop at Conwy and not bother with Llandudno Junction. Even so, a great day out with some great views, seascapes and skyscapes, the sound of the sea and a walk on the beach. Invigorating 👍

A drizzley, misty morning on the Mersey. I completed this route several times but it is always an interesting walk. New perspectives, new things to see. Like the wonderfully eccentric, small Victorian Vale Park in New Brighton. Full of curiosities.

Cold, wet and windy walk today which was more about steps and targets. Not many pics as it was more of head down against the wind and rain type of walk. I always enjoy walking along the prom though.

I don't mind walking in the rain as long as I have the right gear on ;-) Looks like a really nice walk.

In terms of recording my walk it was a bit of a catastrophe. The Komoot app kept kicking me out, pausing the recording and at one point ending, finishing and saving it when I was less than a mile into it (see Part 1). I then got a message the Komooot had 'crashed' and they were trying to sort the 'bugs' out 😳. Anyway, apart from that, another bracing walk along one of my local 'go to' routes. Easy walking along flat, paved terrain made a bit more strenuous by the headwind. Invigorating 🌬🌫😁.

A great walk on another bright, sun shiny, winters day. I took this walk from Komoot and amended it as I went. Starting at West Kirby Rail Station the route included coast and hill country. The three hills were Caldy, Montgomery and Thurstaston. The walk also took in sections of the King Charles III coastal path, the Wirral Way and Thurstaston Common. A varied and very pleasant day with great views and places of interest all along the route. Highly recommended.

A bright but crisp, frosty and misty morning turned into a day of glorious winter sun. A great day for this splendid walk. The first 1.5 miles were hard work for me up a steep incline but once I got to Broadway Tower it was all downhill. Fantastic views all along the way with well placed benches to sit a while and soak it all up which I did - often.

A nice walk with views over the Vale of Evesham. Brought back memories of walking the Cotswold Way.

If yesterday's walk was 'bracing' today's was wild and windswept (jet washed and sand blasted 😳). A high tide together with a strong biting, northerly wind made this an excellent field test for my new 3 in 1 hiking coat. It passed the waterproof and warmth tests with flying colours 😁. Once again I made full use of my Mersey Travel pass by taking the train from Aigburth to New Brighton on 'The Wirral'. I then walked along the King Charles III Coastal Path to Manor Rd train station in Hoylake where I jumped on the train home. I love this route. It is one of my favourite 'local' walks. There are lots of parking spaces along the route and regularly spaced amenities - coffee shops/kiosks, toilets (some charge 30p via a debit card) and even a mobile, beach side sauna 😳. The route is also well served by Merseyrail which will also connect you to main line rail services. Highly recommended.
