The oldest tree in the old Spremberg district is a pedunculate oak with a trunk circumference of approx. 7.00 meters and stands right next to the church. The age of the tree is estimated at 800-1000 years. The cemetery of the soldiers who died in the war is also located on the church grounds. On October 21, 2007, a name plaque for the 124 war victims of World War II who were not buried here was set up here and a memorial oak tree was planted. kirche-hornow.jimdofree.com
