After the Teufelsstein near Trzebiel (Poland), the Finkenstein is the second largest of its kind in the entire Muskau fold.

A more stable ASP fence was erected on the bicycle road, but with gates. Thus, the Finkenstein can be visited. Please close the gate again.

The Finkenstein is the largest erratic block on the German side with about 6.5 cubic meters, located in the district of Klein Loitz. Approximately 20 tons heavy from Rönne granite, it was named after the forester Finke, who was killed by lightning nearby in 1826.
