Nice little nature reserve - with a few nice paths on the dune area.

The sand dune at Ulvenberg (inland dune) was formed at the end of the Weichsel Ice Age in the cold Tundrenklima by sand drifts from Pleistocene pebble sand. The sand dunes in Darmstadt-Eberstadt are part of a 130-kilometer dune train that stretches from Rastatt to Mainz. Rare plants are native there.
