Neoclassical building, located on the south side of the village square newly constructed in 1870, flanked by identical inns. Imposing symmetrically constructed building with one and two floors above a basement with a marked main volume preceded by a stately landing, according to a preserved plan of 1874 by architect Eduard Bouwens from Dendermonde, executed by contractor Van Heddegem from Zottegem. Inauguration on June 17, 1877.
