Natural monument "oak"
According to a biologist, the oak dates from around 1500 AD. It has remained as the last tree in the forest that once reached this point. The arrow on the map from 1848 points to the oak tree. In the past, the oak was struck several times by lightning and therefore burned out inside. Nevertheless, every year it awakens to new life in the green dress of leaves. "The Eich" (as it is popularly called) has been a natural monument since 1972. Source: Text information board
