Linacre is a peaceful woodland with three reservoirs at its heart. Built between 1855-1904, the reservoirs hold more than 240 million gallons of water. A network of trails and footpaths crisscross Linacre’s bluebell woodlands and fields, which are home to a great deal of wildlife. Keep a look out for birds including nuthatches, flycatchers, woodpeckers, kingfishers and mandarin ducks. There is a picnic site and toilet facilities here, too.
