That was chilly, no plan this mornings walk just, follow my nose and follow what path got me interested, which worked out quite well because I discovered that the board walk around Linacre top reservoir is not a board walk anymore but a solid gravel/stone path. I also found a bench above Gingers🐕bench which has an even better view over Chesterfield 🙂

The Mrs was singing at Chatsworth in her choir so my boys and I had a wander from Baslow to Chatsworth had a bite to eat and then had a walk up to the Hunting Tower, then back to Baslow. Grim weather but the company made all the difference 😀🚶

One of my favourite routes made all the better by having the company of my youngest son, glorious weather and seeing an Avro Lancaster Bomber fly past us twice WOW🙂 It was so much closer than the picture indicates.

I was round Bamford edge last year I think and a Lancaster bomber came over lady bower when going back to the car a very rare site but at home at there training site many years ago

Went out for a local wander to test the waterproofing of some of our clothes. My jacket poor, trousers excellent and boots poor. My sons jacket excellent, trousers good and boots good.

@Peter I've been told that if you're clothing is the type that has DWP coating, if it's put in a tumble dryer on a low heat it re-energises the coating 👍
