The RAW site is home to many clubs, bars and beer gardens and offers plenty of cultural items such as exhibitions, markets and projects. The weekend is also a flea market. And on top of that, there is still a climbing paradise.

The RAW site, also known as the “Reichsbahnausbesserungswerk”, is a former railway site in the Friedrichshain district. It was built in the 1860s and served as a train repair and maintenance facility. After the fall of the Wall, the site was abandoned and discovered by Berlin's alternative scene.
Today the RAW site is an important attraction for visitors who want to experience the creative and alternative side of Berlin. The site was taken over by artists and creative people and is now home to a variety of clubs, bars, restaurants, galleries and cultural institutions. There is always something to discover on the RAW grounds, be it a new art installation, a live performance or an interesting event.
The RAW site is also an important place to get to know Berlin's alternative culture. Here you will find many street art paintings and graffiti decorating the walls and buildings of the site. There are also many alternative shops and flea markets offering unique products and goods.
