Hamburg spontaneous and compact - this morning at five o'clock I shot a cheap card for a train journey there and back for € 43. At 6:11 a.m. it started from GE. The weather in Hamburg was fantastic and 😎 sunny. Shortly before 5 p.m. I went back to the Ruhr area. Half an hour late, I'm back home. We will be back definitely. The time was far too short and after almost 22 kilometers you notice it when you can't even sit down in between because nothing is allowed to open. Hamburg is always worth a trip. 🤩 ♥ ️⚓️🚢

Today we started at eight o'clock by bus to the bus station in Buer. From there, the tour led through the forest of Count von Westerholt - former Löwenpark - to the old historic town center of the village of Westerholt and through the city forest back to Buer. The old village impresses above all with its location in the countryside and its wonderful, well-kept and listed half-timbered houses. The wtter was good for hiking. Still only a short lap today.

It is a shame that there is no photo of the port
Then I would have shown my husband his workplace ...

Did a quick lap early in the morning. The weather was dry and cold. So the best conditions. So I was finally able to take some photos of the music theater in the sunrise and take photos of the eponymous church of Gelsenkirchen - the Protestant old town church - and at the same time do the day's shopping.

Despite the bad weather, I dared briefly on Sunday. The hunger for fresh bread was too great - and then my tour extended to the train station.

Short way from the music theater through Feldmark. Over the heap on the former float glass site. Great view from here of the stables and the harness racing track. The way back was through Hessler and the Westfriedhof. Happy Easter to you all :-)

If you are spontaneous, then you are spontaneous ... It started at 5:00 am at the Gelsenkirchen Music Theater. The train left at 5:33 am: spontaneously bought a return trip from the Ruhr area to Berlin. Arrived at 10:14 a.m. without any delay - after approx. 515 kilometers. From the main train station with the U5 to Alexanderplatz. Then we went back comfortably on foot. The weather was passable and it was easy to walk. See and experience something different again. At 4 p.m. we went back and at 8:30 p.m. we were back again. Thank you Berlin. It was fun to have been here again - despite the over a thousand kilometers of railways in one day! We will be back.

Today by train to Velbert-Neviges. The weather was ideal. The way to the train station and back was almost four kilometers - so it was 20 km today. It went over sections of the Neanderlandsteig to Hattingen and back by train. Many vertical meters up and downhill accompanied us today and were a welcome change after a quiet week.
