Hiking

To the north of the staircase is the villa of the former mayor Wilhelm Spiritus, who was a kind of Adenauer of Bonn. To the south of it stood the castle-like villa of the medical professor Joseph Kocks Geyr zu Schweppenburg until 1936. Both together were an unmistakable landmark in the famous view from the Alter Zoll to the Drachenfels.
