This statue is a cool sculpture honoring Countess Constance Markievicz, a total "badass" Irish revolutionary and the first woman elected to the British House of Commons. And hey, let's not forget her loyal sidekick, Poppet, the cute pup!

The statue shows the Countess standing tall and fierce, with that "I'm here to change the world" kind of vibe. And there's Poppet, reminding us of the bond between humans and our furry friends.

You can find this awesome statue in a busy public spot, bringing history to life and inspiring us to keep fighting for what's right. It's like a powerful symbol of girl power and the ongoing struggle for equality.

So, if you're in the area, definitely check it out! It's a pretty sweet tribute to these remarkable figures and a great spot to snap some cool pics.

Constance Georgine Markiewicz (1868 - 1927), Irish nationalist and socialist. Chairwoman of the Cumann na mBan from 1916 to 1926. Sentenced to death by the British after the failed Easter Rising in 1916. The sentence was commuted to life imprisonment because the death penalty was not applied to women at that time. Elected as the first female MP to the British House of Commons in 1919, but never took her seat. Became Minister of Labour in the Eamon de Valera government in 1919, making her the first woman in Europe to hold a ministerial post.
