The National Botanic Gardens of Ireland, Glasnevin can be visited without admission. There are two greenhouse complexes worth seeing with plants from all over the world.
A wonderful large park with old trees can be explored.

You can get there pretty easily with bus number 4 without having to change. This leaves near Trinity college or on O'Connell street.
Even in November, a visit to the Bot Garden is worth it. You can go into the beautiful, old greenhouses and there are great trees (arboretum) in the park. Today there were even leeks, chard, kale and huge heads of cabbage to marvel at.
