On the west side is a rectangular cast-iron pump on a hard stone base, decorated on the sides with a winged Mercury helmet, in front with rosettes and a monster's head, also with the inscription: FORGES § FONDERIES DE LA CAMPINE/ FONDÉES EN 1845/AUGUSTE VAN AERSCHOT, PÈRE/SUCCESSEUR/ LÉONARD VAN AERSCHOT, FILS/HERENTHALS. The pump served to supply the town hall with water. It operated until the late 1950s.
