A must when visiting Nepal; one of the most important budistic places in Nepal, there are also very good restaurants nearby.
The atmosphere there is incredible and different cultures peacefully unite there. You should take some time to explore everything and also enjoy some coffee there.
It is especially worth taking photos at dusk.

I first visited this very special place in 1995.
Its tranquility and peacefulness, despite the hustle and bustle, immediately captivated me and hasn't let go since.
It was also at this stupa where I proposed to my wife in 1998 – and it worked.
As with all temples in Nepal, the rule here is: always walk around clockwise!
I find it annoying to watch the tourists walking in the other direction, the only ones, and not noticing anything 😤.
Here, as always, respect is the key to success.
Anyone visiting other countries and cultures should also invest a little time in learning about their customs and traditions 🧐

Boudhanath is one of the largest and most serene stupas in Nepal, radiating spiritual energy and peace. It's a central pilgrimage site for Tibetan Buddhists and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The circular path around the stupa is perfect for a peaceful kora (ritual walk), surrounded by prayer wheels, fluttering flags, and the scent of incense www-dgcustomerfirst.com
