About F®️anjo

The tour was rated as difficult, I can fully confirm that and that's what the Pyrenees are known for🤩. I started directly from the Izpegi pass. The two sides of the pass have marked red and white hiking/biking trails on the ridges on one side, Elhorrieta Pass and Auza (1300 m above sea level) on the

    1. Today we had a hike in the hinterland before/after the rain 🌧️. This really reminded me of the Coast Path in Cornwall! The only difference, on the way back we walked through lush pine forests, just great greetings

    1. After yesterday's rain, the regional market in Le Penon was headed for this morning with excess oxygen 🙈 and with a moderate cadence. The colorful hustle and bustle and regional products are always worth a visit. Greetings

    1. Today was the second and very similar tour to yesterday in the Pyrénées. We started in the picturesque village of Ainhoa, which is one of the most beautiful in France. You should definitely plan a stop here to eat something. The climb over the Way of the Cross up to the mysterious place and the small

    1. To escape the heat of the French Riviera, the first tour in the Pyrenees was undertaken today. The start was in Espeletta, a picturesque village in the Basque Country. So we went straight along the country road to the historic path that leads to the small chapel of Notre-Dame de l'Aubépine and its moving

    1. True to the motto “in the dunes of Soustons”, I cycled into the hinterland straight after shopping today. Here was a small trail that the rangers painstakingly built. The deep sand at the beginning took some getting used to, the lowering heat was much more difficult🥵 so a cool down in "le Gare" was

    1. Today it was time to roll up and get to know the surroundings. You can tell right away that the French are crazy about bikes; I have rarely seen such great bike paths. Far away from that, trails would be built right in the dunes and forests, just great 👍

    1. Today I went on a pilgrimage to the Pommerol of the "Creme de la Creme wineries" in the late afternoon. What can you say, the terroir is unique as are the prices for a bottle. A tasting in the Chateuas is excluded or there is a waiting time of more than 1 year!

It was a great experience, even though the sun was burning🍷🤩
