The Wunsiedel sculptor Günther Rossow designed the fountain, which consists of a round exposed aggregate concrete basin. All coins with a value of 1800 marks and 73 old coins with a collector's value are pressed into the coin fountain. The old coins were made available by the Fichtelgebirge Museum.
