The original name "Rotunda" - building with a round floor plan - was quickly replaced by the current one. This is based on the fact that the Little Curiosity is only a few meters further to the east and here as well as there the castle residents watched the traffic on the country road from Potsdam to Berlin. However, since the rotunda was visible, Prince Carl liked to stay here on his birthdays and, for the sake of simplicity, received congratulations from the citizens here.
