Today's tour on the E11 I did in the opposite direction. Bad Belzig was the goal again and I started in Raben. Unfortunately I didn't see the castle in Raben, it stayed for the next time. But once again Eisenhardt Castle in Bad Belzig. The Hangelberg, formerly the highest mountain in Brandenburg, was also on the way today. Incidentally, I have already visited the currently highest mountain - Kutschenberg - which is located on the border with Saxony and is a fabulous 0.5 meters higher😊

Today my autumn tour to and through Grumsin. Usually the tour doesn't take place until mid-November when all the leaves are yellow. But even today the forest was already beautifully autumnal😊 In the sunny weather, a lot of walkers and hikers cavorted through Grumsin. I have never seen so many people at the train station in Chorin 😉My previous tours always started in Angermünde, but today inspired by a hike by Frank Meyer komoot.de/tour/525708806 in Wolletz. Indeed, this is a much better decision, as you switch directly from the bus stop to a great hiking trail. Actually even on the Märkische Landweg. The tour remains very nice until the end.

Today I arrived on the E11 in Hohen Fläming. The first 20km were rather a good average: I was on forest paths through the forest with a relatively high proportion of pine, which became a bit monotonous in the long run. 10km before the end you finally reach the castle hiking trail and from Klein Briesen the path is finally really beautiful. You now walk to Ragösen on a path through a very beautiful forest along a stream. This is exactly how a hiking trail has to be😊I did the castle hiking trail almost exactly a year ago. So I knew that there would be a very nice track in the end and I was looking forward to it.So I can only recommend the part between Klein Briesen and Ragösen to everyone😊

Today a jump on the E11; I skipped Berlin and Potsdam for the time being, at least as long as the trees have their leaves😊The highlight today was of course the monastery in Lehnin. I've already looked at it and found it very beautiful today. The forest between Lehnin and Klaistow with the two lakes is also worth seeing. An event of some kind was taking place at the asparagus farm in Klaistow: it felt like 1,000 cars were parked and the children could be heard for miles. Shortly before Schwielowsee it was nice again and you were even allowed to climb a few meters, not just because of the observation tower. Overall good tour.

And already comes the next stage😊Because of the run in Strausberg, I had to make a short lap to get to the path. Today I found the path at the Bötzsee beautiful. The forest was beautiful, even if the paths were a bit too straight for me. After Altlandsberg, the path became really nice again for a short time. First you walk through a beautiful forest along the Erpe and then through a great meadow landscape. That raised the quality a bit and ended up nicely. The weather was also good today. There wasn't that much sun, but I could hike in a T-shirt. Maybe the last time this year.

The next stage on the E11. Even today, the start in Buckow was extremely nice. Both the forest and the views of the lakes made the perfect start. Unfortunately, when you leave Buckow, the quality of the path also deteriorates. There are always paved paths or you can also walk on the bike paths. Still, it remains a good hiking trail. Especially because you later make a few side detours, e.g. to the pyramid of Garzau. The last 5km actually no longer belong to E11. This is due to the fact that the next stage would otherwise be on a boring road / country road at the beginning. So this piece is bypassed. Just like today's deviations, this was taken from Frank's tour: komoot.de/tour/13692375

While the last stage on the E11 was rather disappointing, I was completely compensated for it today😊Buckow is a nice little town with a very nice castle park. The first 5km through the forest along the Stöbber are just perfect. After Tornow, the quality drops a little, but the path is still very beautiful. Here the forest alternates with meadows. After Neuhardenberg it is unfortunately only average, but still no comparison to the previous stage.Actually, I should have run this stage in the other direction, so I would have seen the best at the end. But even so, I can confidently recommend it. But above all Bockow with the park and the forest. It can be reached relatively quickly from Berlin and is also not overcrowded. In the forest today I ran all alone😊By the way, the fences in the last pictures are due to the African swine fever. On the previous stages, too, I saw and passed many extensively fenced off areas.

The second stage on the E11 through Brandenburg. Even today the starting point was in Reitwein. I really liked the forest here today, so the first 4-5km were really nice. After that, unfortunately, that changes. From Podelzig you have a lot of paved paths, hardly any forest and only a few beautiful views. So I can only recommend the forest near Reitwein. One more note about the beautiful forest. The traces of the war can still be seen here. The Soviet command had a bunker and a position here. From here the offensive on Berlin was started, which then led to surrender less than a month later. I found the information boards here very interesting. There are also memories of German soldiers: how they experienced the last fighting. Since I visited two Soviet memorials and the bunker today, this hike could almost be described as “on the trail of the Red Army”. Fortunately, there is no other trace of the war. Should stay that way.
