Founded in 1219 and expanded over the centuries, the Veste Oberhaus is an impressive European cultural monument. In 1932, the city of Passau took over the upper house and set up a museum.
The museum is the heart of the Veste Oberhaus. But the castle complex can also be explored in other ways.
