St. Stephen's Cathedral in Passau is a baroque bishop's church rebuilt from 1668. It is the episcopal seat and main church of the Diocese of Passau. The cathedral was built on the highest elevation of the old town between the Inn and Danube rivers, 13 m above the Danube and 303 m above sea level.
