Hiking

The pavilion is probably still maintained. Here you can learn a lot about bees, but also about birds and, if necessary, shelter in case of rain. Opposite is the Pfennigerswiesen, a protected biotope with swampy areas. Therefore, in the warmer months of the year (biting) mosquitoes visit the pavilion.

Nice information pavilion with several display boards. The circular route NEST (Nature Experience STutensee) was a voluntary project of the Stutensee agenda group "Nature and Environment" and begins at Stutensee Castle. The circular route was financially supported in 2006 by the city of Stutensee and the State Institute for Environmental Protection. The link given on the Stutensee website no longer works, so I assume that the circular route will no longer be maintained. The signs look a bit weathered, but they are still legible.
