Road Cycling Highlight (Segment)
Friedrichstaler Allee. An approx. 10 km long section through the Hardtwald between the Karlsruhe Palace Garden and Friedrichstal. Straight as a candle, perfectly flat and wonderfully shady. Cars are not allowed to drive here. The asphalt is good to ok. Now and then a few ski jumps due to root growth. Due to the lack of variety, the 10 km can also become a little boring and drag.

Ingenious bike track, just straight, occasional waves through rooting, otherwise top!

Crossing the intersecting and, depending on the time of day, busy national roads L604 and L559 may, due to lack of bridge or underpass, become quite a challenge and a joke ...

Mega. For more than 10 km it goes straight on great asphalt. Several highways have to be crossed. I was lucky today (~ 16:30) and didn't have to wait at any intersection. Nevertheless, caution is advised!

Super insider tip for all those who are looking for an outdoor alternative to spinning / cycling: 11km straight ahead, good and grippy asphalt - just start skiing. Is only crossed by the federal highways.

Dead straight through the Hardtwald to Friedrichstal. No cars, few other cyclists or walkers, as well as aglater asphalt. From Friedrichstal it is only a stone's throw to the Kraichgau.
